Bio: 

Oklahoman by birth, Californian by upbringing, and New Yorker by choice and longevity, Jim Story is a novelist, short-story writer and poet. His second novel called The Condor's Shadow was published in 2023). In 2015 he published a novel called, Problems of Translation, or Charlie's Comic, Terrifying, Romantic, Loopy Round-the-World Journey in Search of Linguistic Happiness. His latest novel, Professor Fairweather Hits the Skids, will be published early this year. He has also published short stories, creative nonfiction, reviews and poetry in a variety of literary publications, has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, won a Best New Writers Award from Poets & Writers, and held a residency at the Edward Albee Center in Montauk, Long Island. An ex-college history professor (Russian History), Jim holds a PhD from Columbia University and a certificate from the Russian (now Harriman) Institute. He lives in New York City with his life partner, Jill.
