Bio: 

Sharon Dolin is the author of seven poetry books, most recently: Imperfect Present, Manual for Living, Whirlwind, and Burn and Dodge, winner of the AWP Donald Hall Prize in Poetry, a prose memoir entitled Hitchcock Blonde, as well as two books she translated from Catalan by Gemma Gorga. She has been awarded a 2021 NEA in Translation, the Malinda A. Markham Translation Prize, and the Witter Bynner Fellowship from the Library of Congress, selected by Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey. Her book of translations, Late to the House of Words: Selected Poems by Gemma Gorga, was shortlisted for the 2022 Griffin Poetry Prize. Sharon Dolin lives in New York City where she is Associate Editor of Barrow Street Press and directs Writing About Art in Barcelona, a creative writing workshop.
