Bio: 

Patricia Clark is a native of the Pacific Northwest. She has published six books of poetry, three chapbooks, and co-edited an anthology of women writers. Her most recent book of poems is  Self-Portrait with a Million Dollars (2020, Terrapin Books).She has three books with Michigan State University Press, most recently Sunday Rising (2013). She has received 2nd prize in the 2005 Nimrod Pablo Neruda competition, the poetry prize from Mississippi Review, and a creative artist grant from ArtServe Michigan. Patricia has done residencies at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, at the MacDowell Colony, and at the Tyrone Guthrie Center in Ireland. She recently retired from teaching creative writing at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Patricia has a new book forthcoming in January 2025 from Madville Publishing, titled O Lucky Day.
