Susan Carol Hauser’s books include My Kind of River Journey: Seeking Passage on the Mississippi, Center for American Places, Columbia College Chicago, 2011; A Field Guide to Poison Ivy; A Field Guide to Ticks; Outside after Dark: New and Selected Poems; You Can Write a Memoir; Wild Rice Cooking (Minnesota Book Award); A Maple Syrup Memoir with Instructions; and Meant to Be Read Out Loud (Minnesota Book Award).
