The magazine’s mission is in its name: El Portal means the door. The editors open their doors to works that move them.
We were born in the West; though we have a soft spot for our beginnings, our eclectic tastes make us open to everything. Send us your poetry and fiction, photography and art, nonfiction, and flash works that transgress boundaries, straddle borders, and most importantly, will move us.
