Born in California, DB Jonas studied literature, music and continental philosophy in his youth. Following some Wanderjahre in France, Spain, North Africa and Italy after High School, he studied at the University of California and The University of Padova, and earned advanced degrees from Yale and Princeton Universities.  After a career in business and the sciences, he retired to his orchards in the mountains of New Mexico where he tends to his fruit trees and poetry amid the manifest inspirations of the Mountain Southwest.
