Silk Road Review: A Literary Crossroads publishes original fiction, nonfiction, poetry, one-act plays, screenplays, graphic narratives, translations, first chapters, and artwork that take readers to new places, whether physical or metaphorical. It operates out of Pacific University in Oregon and has been in publication for over two decades.

While we look for writing that engages place in a physical sense, our geographic sense of “taking us somewhere” crosses emotional boundaries too. Pieces that expand our understandings of culture, people, and the non-human world occupy a great deal of our pages. We pay our writers who are both new and experienced.
