USA National Beat Poet Laureate Rich Ferguson kicks off a new poetry series POET FILM STAGE featuring poetry heavyweight Bob Holman on August 18th at Wacko Soap Plant, 4633 Hollywood Blvd. 4 - 6 p.m.  S.A. Griffin and Matt Sedillo will also perform in this event featuring internationally known spoken word poets and short films by artists from LA and NYC.

The series POET FILM STAGE will showcase artists who raise the word from the page, igniting it through live events and film screenings. Amongst the shorts being screened are "We Are the Dinosaur" by director H. Paul Moon and featuring Bob Holman.
