Mathieu Cailler is the author of seven books: one novel, Heaven and Other Zip Codes (Open Books); two short story collections, Loss Angeles (Short Story America) and Forest for the Trees & Other Stories (Hidden Peak Press); two volumes of poetry, May I Have This Dance? (About Editions) and Catacombs of the Heart (Spartan); and two children’s titles, The (Underappreciated) Life of Humphrey Hawley (About Editions) and Hi, I'm Night (Olympia). His stories, poems, and essays have appeared in over one hundred fifty publications, including Wigleaf, the Saturday Evening Post, and the Los Angeles Times. He is the recipient of numerous awards, most notably a Pushcart Prize, a Readers' Favorite Book Award, a Short Story America Prize, a New England Book Festival Prize, a Los Angeles Book Festival Prize, and a Paris Book Festival Prize.
