Gillian Thomas is a Washington DC-area writer and poet. A graduate of New York City’s Hunter College, Thomas received her bachelor’s degree in English and theater before first being published in the journal The Iconoclast. Thomas has written across all genres, though her main focus has been as a poet. She currently writes from home, alongside her young son, math professor husband, and 2 barking Miniature Schnauzers. Thomas’ work has been featured in Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Gargoyle, Mid-Atlantic Review, Epiphany, Ligeia Magazine, Pembroke Magazine, Topical, Spry, JMWW journal, Grand Little Things, and many others. She is currently working on her first book, a collection of poetry.
