Bio: 

Jason O'Toole is a poet, editor, and musician whose work bridges literature and subculture. He served as the 6th Poet Laureate of North Andover, Massachusetts, and co-founded The Anne Bradstreet Poetry Contest. Jason has judged several literary events, including the Capital District Poetry Slam Festival and the Tom Nattell Peace Poetry Prize. He is the author of three poetry collections as well as four chapbooks. His recent poems have appeared in Tiny Molecules, Gargoyle, Another Chicago Magazine, and numerous anthologies. A former vocalist for NYC hardcore punk bands like Life’s Blood and My Rifle, his cultural contributions are documented in Cut and Paste – The American Hardcore Fanzine and New York Rock. He lives in Massachusetts and serves as treasurer of the Independent Living Resource Center San Francisco.
