I'm a writer with an enduring fascination for poetry and the places that shape us, from their plant life to their political cultures, which I'm sure are connected somehow. Many of my favorite writers seem to have figured it out: Octavio Paz, Amy Clampitt, Robert Hayden. My poems have appeared in Colorado Review, The Shore, Minnesota Review,  Harpur Palate, and other literary journals. Two of my poems, "Dreamliner's Song" and the "The Gala," were recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize in Poetry.
