Bio: 

Christopher P. Collins is the author of My American Night, a collection of lyric poems that wrestle with a sense of self that has become fragmented by the experience of war. His creative nonfiction and poetry have been published in a variety of venues, including Creative Nonfiction, Five Points, Terminus, CutBank, and Pilgrimage. He has one chapbook, Gathering Leaves for War, published by Finishing Line Press. He holds a PhD in Literary Nonfiction and a MFA in Poetry. A disabled combat veteran of the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars and a former college professor, Chris lives with his wife and two children in Independence, Kentucky.
