Bio: 

Laura Apol is the author of five full-length collections of poetry, most recently, A Fine Yellow Dust (2021), winner of the Midwest Book Award for Poetry. Laura served as the Lansing Michigan poet laureate from 2019-2021. Her recent work focuses on arts-based inquiry, international collaboration, and the therapeutic uses of writing in response to trauma.
