Bio: 

Lyricist and fiction writer Catherine Moore is a recipient of the Southeast Review’s Gearhart Prize for Poetry and the Yemassee Fiction Prize. She is the author of ULLA! ULLA! and three chapbook collections. Her work appears in Tahoma Literary Review, Southampton Review, Mid-American Review, Broad River Review and in numerous other literary publications. She is the co-editor of the recently released FIOLET & WING: An Anthology of Domestic Fabulist Poetry. 

Her fiction has also shortlisted for the Faulkner-Wisdom short story competition, awarded finalist slots in the Rash Awards, the Fineline Competition, the Prime Number Magazine Award, and was selected for inclusion in the juried BEST SMALL FICTIONS anthology. Her poetry has also shortlisted for the Kithara Book Prize at Glass Lyre Press and been a finalist in the Powderhorn Prize Book Award and the Brighthill Press Poetry Book Competition. 

Catherine holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing and she teaches at a community college. She has been awarded Walker Percy and Hambidge fellowships; her honors also include a Nashville MetroArts grant, as well as Pushcart, Best of the Net, and VERA Award nominations. She serves as the Managing Editor for Doubleback Books. 

Unsolicited Press will publish her collection of lyrical pieces in the voices of bog bodies, April 2020.
