Bio: 

John Farrell is the author of numerous articles and reviews and four books. He writes primarily on addiction and spirituality, but is currently working a book about the spiritual dimensions of stuttering. He has taught writing courses at several universities including SUNY, Fordham, Drexel, and Delaware. He also composes tanka, a Japanese form comprising five lines and thirty-one syllables. He is ordained in the Episcopal Church of the United States and is a trained labyrinth walk facilitator. He received a Masters of Divinity from Yale University and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Delaware. In 2008, Fr. Farrell served as a Professional-in-Residence at the Betty Ford Center. He has been named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International.
