Nina Bannett is department chair and Professor of English at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY). In addition to These Acts of Water, her chapbook, Lithium Witness, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2011. Her poetry has also appeared in journals such as Open Minds Quarterly, Bellevue Literary Review, and CALYX.
