Bio: 

Tricia Knoll moved from Oregon to Vermont in 2018. She feels strong kinship with her five acres of forest and the wildlife that run through it. She was once bitten on the neck by a captive coyote. She maintains a daily haiku practice. More than three hundred of her poems have found homes in journals and anthologies. Website: triciaknoll.com She has degrees in literature from Stanford University (BA) and Yale University (MAT.) Her poetry and haiku appear in numerous journals and several anthologies. Urban Wild (Finishing Line Press 2014) highlights intereactions between humans and wildlife in urban habitat. Ocean's Laughter (Aldrich Press, 2016) combines lyric and eco-poetry to explore change over time in a small town on Oregon's northern coast, Manzanita. Broadfork Farm (The Poetry Box) focuses on a small family-owned organic farm in Trout Lake, Washington where Knoll was a regular farmsitter for many years. In 2018 How I Learned To Be White came out from Antrim House.

How I Learned To Be White (Antrim House) received the Gold Prize for Motivational Poetry in the 2018 Human Relations Indie Book Prize. Knoll's work has received 8 Pushcart nominations and one Best of Net.
