Bio: 

Siân (pronounced "Shane") Griffiths lives in Ogden, Utah where she teaches creative writing at Weber State University. She earned her BA at the University of Idaho and her MA and PhD at the University of Georgia. Her work has appeared in Prairie Schooner, American Short Fiction, River Teeth, Indiana Review, Ninth Letter, Cincinnati Review, and Colorado Review, among many other publications. Versal and Georgia Review have each nominated her stories for the Pushcart Prize. Her first novel, Borrowed Horses (New Rivers Press) was a semi-finalist for the VCU Cabell First Novel Award. Her second novel, Scrapple (Braddock Ave Press), and her fiction collection, The Heart Keeps Faulty Time (Bull City Press), were published in 2020. In May of 2022, her essay collection, The Sum of Her Parts, was released from University of Georgia Press. She reads fiction as part of the editorial team at Barrelhouse.
