David Welper is a Pushcart nominee with an MA from Wayne State University in Detroit. He is the Founder of the lit zine, Buddy, which is a safe space for writing about mental health, while considering writing of any topic. His book, Lookbaby, was reviewed by Red Paint Hill. He’s been a featured reader in NYC, Detroit, and the Bay Area. He has been an Editor, a Curator, a volunteer, and an intern at various Arts organizations across the US.
