Bio: 

A writer, vocalist, and songwriter, Kenny Fame is an award-winning poet/songwriter that’s a current Grammy Board member NYC Chapter, with a publishing deal with Epitome Music Library. His works of poetry has appeared in numerous publications, including Steel Toe Review, River Lit, Milk Sugar, The Fine Line, Emerge Literary Journal, Rufous Salon, Prompt Literary Magazine, De La Mancha, Anastomoo, ken*again, African-American Review, The New Verse News, Poetry Super Highway, Black Magnolias Literary Journal, Assisi: An Online Journal of Arts & Letters. He has been a Keynote Speaker at the United Nations in NYC during the Global Conference International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the USA. He is also District Advocate for The Recording Arts Academy in NYC and has written plays as well as commercials for television. He is a recipient of numerous awards including: Black Writers Conference, Poetry Super Highways “Poet of the Week”, Gashouse Radio’s Battle of the Bands competition, Silver Song A&R Award, Bands4Good Challenge (semi-finalist), Akademia Music Award, Song of the Year Songwriting Contest (runner-up winner / 2015 & 2017), American Songwriting Award.
