Lynn McGee is the author of the poetry collection Tracks (Broadstone Books, 2019);  Sober Cooking (Spuyten Duyvil Press, 2016), and two award-winning poetry chapbooks: Heirloom Bulldog (Bright Hill Press, 2015) and Bonanza (Slapering Hol Press, 1997). Her children's book, Starting Over in Sunset Park, co-written with José Pelauz, is forthcoming in Fall 2020 from Tilbury House Publishers, distributed by Norton.

Lynn's poems are forthcoming (as of January 2020) in The Tampa Review, Saranac Review and Across the Waves: Contemporary Poetry from Ireland and the United States (Salmon Books). Ten poems from her 17-part series "Crush," part of a new manuscript, Blockbuster Love, are forthcoming in What Rough Beast, from Indolent Books. Lynn's poem, "My Seven-Season Friendship With a Russian Spy," with audio by Chicago composer Bill Parod is forthcoming from Atticus Review. 

Lynn earned an MFA in Poetry at Columbia University, where she held teaching and merit fellowships. She serves on the advisory board of Slapering Hol Press of the Hudson Valley Writers Center and co-curates the Lunar Walk Poetry Series with Gerry LaFemina and Madeleine Barnes. She has taught writing at private and public colleges (George Washington University, Columbia University, Southern Methodist University, Brooklyn College/CUNY) as well as having led poetry workshops in New York City public schools through Teachers and Writers Collaborative. Today she works as a communications manager in a CUNY college.
