Bio: 

Andrew Geyer's latest individually authored book is the story cycle Lesser Mountains (Lamar UP 2019), which won a silver IPPY for Best Regional Fiction, US South. His debut story cycle Whispers in Dust and Bone (Texas Tech UP 2003) won a silver INDIE for Short Fiction Book of the Year. His short stories have received two Spur Awards for Short Fiction from the Western Writers of America. A member of the Texas Institute of Letters and the South Carolina Academy of Authors Literary Hall of Fame, he currently serves as Professor and Chair of English at the University of South Carolina-Aiken.
