Bio: 

Janice D. Rubin is a counselor and educator. She received her M.S. from the University of Oregon and her B.A. in English Literature. Her poems have been published in About Place Journal, Third Wednesday, San Pedro River Review, The Timberline Review, CIRQUE, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, The Austin International Poetry Anthology, The Quizzical Chair Anthology, It Demands a Wildness of Me Anthology (Uttered Chaos Press), Pandemic Puzzle Poems Anthology (Blue Light Press), All The Women Came & Sang (Wyld Syde Press). She was nominated for the Pushcart Poetry Prize in 2008. Her first full length book of poems, Tin Coyote (Blue Light Press) was nominated for the 2019 Stafford/Hall Award for Poetry. She was a finalist for the Blue Light Press Book Award. She has taught at Oregon State University in Corvallis and Lane Community College in Eugene. She's the author of Transcending Damnation Creek Trail & Other Poems (Flutter Press, 2010), Tin Coyote (Blue Light Press, 2018), Crossing the Burnside Bridge & Other Poems (Cirque Press, 2023). Candidate for Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Creative Writing Poetry,  Eastern Oregon University.
