Bio: 

Kelli Russell Agodon is an award-winning poet, writer, and editor from the Northwest. She’s the author of Dialogues with Rising Tides (Copper Canyon Press, 2021), Hourglass Museum (White Pine Press, 2014), which was a Finalist for the Washington State Book Awards and short-listed for the Julie Suk Poetry Prize honoring the best books of poems published by an independent press. She also recently published The Daily Poet: Day-By-Day Prompts for Your Writing Practice, which she coauthored with Martha Silano. Her other books include Letters from the Emily Dickinson Room chosen by Carl Dennis for the White Pine Poetry Prize and also Winner of ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year in Poetry and a Finalist for the Washington State Book Prize, Small Knots, Geography, and Fire On Her Tongue: An Anthology of Contemporary Women's Poetry which she edited with Annette Spaulding-Convy. She has won various awards in writing and editing from Artist Trust, The Puffin Foundation, North American Review and her work has been published in journals and magazines such as The Atlantic, The Nation, Prairie Schooner, New England Review, Oprah Magazine, and on the Writer's Almanac with Garrison Keillor. Kelli is the cofounder of Two Sylvias Press where she works as an editor and book cover designer. She lives in a sleepy seaside town in Washington State on traditional lands of the Chimacum, Coast Salish, S'Klallam, and Suquamish people where she is an avid paddleboarder and hiker.
