Bio: 

David Giannini’s most recent published collections of poetry include AZ TWO (Adastra Press,) a “Featured Book” in the 2009 Massachusetts Poetry Festival; OTHERS’ LINES (one in Peter Ganick’s small chapbook project;) and HOW ELSE? (Longhouse Publishers.) His work appears in national and international literary magazines and anthologies. He has been a gravedigger; beekeeper; and taught at Williams College, The University of Massachusetts, and Berkshire Community College, among others. His Installation, The International House Dust Collection, was exhibited most recently at the Yager Museum in Oneonta, New York in 2005. He lives in Becket, Massachusetts. He has been a committee and board member of The Becket Arts Center where a dramatic reading of his extended narrative prosepoem, RIM , was produced in 2005. He has published more than 30 collections with small presses, including, most recently, six chapbooks with Feral Press/Prehensile Pencil. SPAN OF THREAD, his book of selected prosepoems will be published in 2013 via Cervena Barva Press. Poets and Writers does not allow all presses to be included in credits, therefore many are missing.

Awards include: Massachusetts Artists Fellowship Awards; The Osa and Lee Mays Award For Poetry; and an award for prosepoetry from the University of Florida. He won a Finalist Award from The Naugatuck Review in 2010.
