Bio

Two published novels, Missing Person and Red-tail; and a book of poetry: “Tree and Shadow,” (Wild Leaf Press). Twenty essays and over 50 artist profiles in élan magazine. Work has also appeared in The Washington Post, Country Magazine, the anthology Grace & Gravity, and various literary magazines including: Phoebe, Fugue, New Collage and Hot Metal Bridge. One-act play, "Something to Hold Onto" was performed by Sterling Playmakers in June 2009. B.A. in English Literature from American University.

I have recently completed a novel based on the true story of Levi Hochstetler Dying to Live about an Amish man who faked his death in order to leave.
