I'm a New York poet, active in the Manhattan and Long Island poetry communities, and also published in literary journals and anthologies throughout the U.S. and, also, internationally. My poem "on yet another birthday" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Ibbetson Street Press in 2006, and I was "Short Listed" in the Tom Howard Poetry Contest 2007, for my poem "My Life: The Reel Story," on a "commended" list in the Margaret Reid Poetry Prize Contest for Traditional Verse for poems: "Transition," "Slipping into Red" and "On Divining Sanctuary."
