Bio: 

Kendall Dunkelberg is Director of the Low-Res MFA in Creative Writing at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi, where he also directs the Eudora Welty Writers’ Symposium. He earned his BA in English / Creative Writing from Knox College, and his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. He has published three books of poetry, Barrier Island Suite, Time Capsules, and Landscapes and Architectures, as well as a collection of translations of poems by the Flemish poet Paul Snoek, Hercules, Richelieu, and Nostradamus. His introductory creative writing textbook, A Writer's Craft: Multi-genre Creative Writing is published by Bloomsbury. Poems are forthcoming in The Ecopoetry Anthology: Volume II and Southern Voices: The Power of Place, and his fourth poetry collection Tree Fall with Birdsong is forthcoming from Fernwood Press in 2025.
