Bio: 

Born October 8, 1965 in Alton, Illinois, J. E. Robinson was graduated from Howard University and the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a private school history teacher, creator/producer/host of "Eavesdropping," a half-hour radio conversation, proprietor of J. E. Robinson, Tours, specializing in the Underground Railroad of the Saint Louis area, and a university history professor. In 2023, he retired to devote his time to playwriting for Off-Broadway, which has served as a venue for his work since 2015.
