Henion has received a variety of accolades, including a Lowell Thomas Award, and her work has twice been cited in The Best American Travel Writing (Houghton Mifflin). Her debut book, about a selection of earth’s most dazzling natural phenomena, is forthcoming from The Penguin Press.
