Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in the Ocotillo Review will be given annually for a poem and a short story. The winners will also each receive a two-year subscription to Duotrope. Natalia Treviño will judge the Julia Darling Memorial Poetry Prize; Michael Noll will judge the Chester B. Himes Memorial Short Fiction Prize. Using only the online submission system, submit up to five poems of no more than 65 lines each or a story of 1,000 to 4,200 words with a $20 entry fee, which includes a copy of the Ocotillo Review, by August 20.
