A prize of £1,000 (approximately $1,340) will be given in alternating years for a book of fiction or nonfiction published in the previous year that "contributes to the awareness, understanding, and support of human rights." The 2018 prize will be awarded in fiction. Carmen Boullosa, Randy Boyagoda, and George Fetherling will judge. Submit a novel published in 2017 by April 30. There is no entry fee.
