A seven-month residency from April to October, which includes a $5,000 honorarium, is given annually to a poet, a fiction writer, or a creative nonfiction writer to live and work at the Dutch Henry Homestead near the Rogue River in southwestern Oregon. The residency requires one hour of general homestead maintenance per day. A committee of PEN Northwest members will judge. For residencies in 2019 and 2020, submit three copies of 10 pages of poetry or 20 pages of prose, a résumé, and a letter of intent with a $25 entry fee by March 1. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
