A prize of $1,500 and publication in Louisiana Literature is given annually for a short story by a writer who has not published a full-length book of fiction. The winner also receives domestic airfare of up to $500, private lodging, and a VIP all-access pass to the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival in March 2018 to give a reading.
