Bianca Stone talks to Vermont poet laureate Chard deNiord for Poets Speak about her poetry, life with her family in Vermont, and her work restoring the house of her late grandmother, poet Ruth Stone. Bianca Stone’s third poetry collection, The Möbius Strip Club of Grief (Tin House Books, 2018), is featured in Page One in the March/April issue of Poets & Writers Magazine.

In this clip, poet Bianca Stone combines poetry, music, and art, telling a story through the deconstruction of her own drawings. Stone is the author of Someone Else’s Wedding Vows (Tin House/Octopus Books, 2014).

This video features the Vermont home of the late poet Ruth Stone, who won the National Book Award for In the Next Galaxy (Copper Canyon Press, 2002). Her granddaughter, poet Bianca Stone, is helping to turn the property into a bucolic writer’s retreat.
