Tips From the Editor
Please see previous editions, available on Amazon.com. Works of prose should be up to 25 pages; works of poetry up to 10 pages. All submissions should be in standard manuscript format.
Upon our founding in 2014, Ms. Aligned was one of the few series devoted to prose and poetry about men written by women. In previous anthologies, a story set in the Hawaiian Islands satirizes the expectations that people bring to romantic relationships; a poem describes the brutalization of a father and the ways in which this affects his family; a personal essay describes how a girl sought, through her relationship with her grandfather, to recover from the loss of her father. These various voices, portraits, and histories contribute to the breadth and depth of Ms. Aligned.
