Iowa Review, founded in 1970, is published by the University of Iowa. The literary magazine features a wide range of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, translations, photography, and work in emerging forms by both established and emerging writers. With the intent to help new and emerging writers develop an audience, the Iowa Review publishes short reviews of book-length fiction, literary nonfiction, and poetry on their website. The magazine also publishes longer reviews in print issues.
