The UConn Co-op serves as the official bookstore for the University of Connecticut. The Co-op operates campus bookstores in Storrs, at the five regional campuses in Avery Point, Stamford, Torrington, Waterbury and West Hartford, and at the three Professional Campuses including UConn School of Law, UConn Health Center and the MBA Shop In addition to textbooks and course materials, the Co-op offers general books, computers, software, school supplies, art & engineering supplies, UConn apparel & memorabilia, greeting cards, gifts, snacks, health & beauty aids, and much more. The UConn Co-op is a not-for-profit, cooperative business, separate from the University. We are owned by our active members, the students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Connecticut. The Co-op is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the active members. And while our mission is to serve our University customers, we welcome anyone to shop at any of the Co-op stores. Currently the Co-op has a membership of about 30,000 people, predominantly current students. The Co-op is the largest collegiate bookstore in Connecticut and one of the top bookstores in the country. But what we are most proud of is our service focus and the fact that we are owned and governed by our members, with a student majority on our Board of Directors.
