Rabid Oak [1]
Rabid Oak is a biannual literary journal broadcasting from California’s southern San Joaquin Valley. In addition to their twice-yearly online journal open to anyone from anywhere, they publish an ongoing series of “Locally Sourced” literature centered on writing that captures life as it exists in the southern San Joaquin Valley: Visalia to Frazier Park, McKittrick to Mojave.
We’re looking for poetry and flash fiction or nonfiction (under 1,000 words) that use voice, image, and form to leave us saying in our best Keanu Reeves voices: “Whoa.”
