The 36th International Festival of Authors was held from October 22 to November 1 at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. The festival featured readings, interviews, lectures, round-table discussions, and book signings for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. The 2015 festival focused on emerging and established poets, as well as contemporary Catalonian literature. Participants included poets Nina Berkhout, Christian Bök, Kevin Connolly, and Jacob McArthur Mooney; fiction writers Anne Enright, Richard Flanagan, Connie Gault, Anne Michaels, Ray Smith, and Meg Wolitzer; and nonfiction writers Pamela Palmater, John Ralston Saul, and Rosemary Sullivan.
