VA Smith is the author of the poetry collections Biking Through the Stone Age (Kelsay, 2022) and American Daughters (Kelsay, 2023).  Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in dozens of literary journals and anthologies, among them:  The Southern Review, Calyx, and Crab Creek Review. A former teaching professor at Penn State University and the founder of Chancellor Writing Services, VA has most recently completed her third collection of poems titled On Evolutionary Adaptability. Her work has been nominated for both Pushcart and Best of the Net honors.When she is not writing she is practicing yoga, biking, loving on and cooking for her partner, friends, and family, and serving as a reader for River Heron Review.
