Lecturer, Prose (Faculty Wage) [1]
The Department of English, Creative Writing, https://creativewriting.virginia.edu/ [2], at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, is seeking candidates for a faculty wage lecturer position to teach 1 undergraduate course in the Fall, 2021, and 1 undergraduate course in the Spring, 2022, including workshops at the intermediate and/or advanced levels. Candidates must have an MFA degree and prior experience in teaching at the college or university level. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: MFA degree
Experience: Teaching at the College or University Level
Publication: A strong background in contemporary fiction and creative nonfiction and an MFA are required. At least one published novel or story collection, and/or significant publications in creative nonfiction, essays, profiles, reviews, etc., from major presses required.
