Students attend two 10-day residencies each year, in January and June, at the University of Tampa campus in downtown Tampa, Florida.

The funding application deadline for the January residency is September 15, 2017; the final application deadline is December 4, 2017.

During each residency, the program hosts the Lectores Reading Series, which has featured writers such as Terrance Hayes, Denis Johnson, Miranda July, George Saunders, and Patricia Smith.
