Editorial Focus
TXTOBJX (txtobjx.com) is an experimental literary site that publishes text objects -- fragmentary, abbreviated, emergent writing that falls somewhere between prose and poetry. A text object might take the shape of a microfable, a prose sketch, a list or an aphorism. It can be piece of episodic surrealism or an artful misremembrance. It can be a set of cryptic instructions, or a description of a real or imagined phenomenon. Ideally, however, its controlled spontaneity distinguishes it from the highly resolute craft and polish of its cousin forms. Submissions: txtobjx@gmail.com.

To the extent that TXTOBJX has a particular aesthetic bandwidth, its editorial tastes favor text objects that have a vital tension, and a perhaps paradoxical sense of unity in their fragmentedness that, ultimately, implicates or invokes a broader truth.
