Editorial Focus

The Watershed Journal is always looking for storytellers in our region of the Pennsylvania Wilds to submit poetry, short stories, personal essays, local journalism, and storytelling photography or imagery.

Tips From the Editor

Our extremely local magazine began with a group of writers. We are dedicated to creating a space for local storytellers in the Brookville, Clarion, DuBois, Punxsutawney, and surrounding areas to publish their work in a literary magazine, both online and in print. Our mission is to lift each other up through our poetry, short stories, personal essays, photography and other modes of storytelling. We believe that everyone has a voice and a creative expression that is worth sharing.

We are always accepting submissions from writers of all ages, experiences, and backgrounds with ties to our region of the Pennsylvania Wilds. A diversity of life happens here in our hometowns; we want to publish a diversity of local storytelling to represent us all.
