Editorial Focus

The A3 Review is a literary magazine that behaves like a map, made by the folks who make Writing Maps. Prose and poetry pieces are written with a 150-word limit in response to a themed monthly writing contest. Twelve winners are published in the biannual review, and three overall winners receive cash prizes. Total cash prizes is £275 (approx. $360).

Tips From the Editor

We are looking for original and creative responses to our monthly themed contests. Experimental work is encouraged. We accept all forms and genres of writing and artwork. Poems, flash fiction, a graphic story or a snippet of memoir... as long as it's under 151 words and fits into an A6 panel.
