Editorial Focus
The Sigh Press publishes work by writers of English (and visual artists who speak any language) in Tuscany. Each issue is uniquely curated and creatively adheres to a theme set for that issue. We publish approximately 4-6 writers and one visual artist per issue; these numbers include at least one to three debut writers/artists. We like sharp work written with wit and elegance, the essence of the story, the experience, the memory, condensed to an intoxicating gasp. We hope to shine a light on the wealth of writers of English in Tuscany.
Tips From the Editor
Please submit only if you have a relationship of some kind with Tuscany, even a brief one is fine as long as the creative work you submit originated, was in part created, or was completed in Tuscany. The work does not need to thematically regard Tuscany in any way. Please don't submit flowery work about an idealized Tuscany. We are looking for excellent, compelling writing and artwork. Please have a look at past issues to understand how we shape the journal according to the theme we set for each issue.
