Editorial Focus

Rabid Oak is a biannual literary journal broadcasting from California’s southern San Joaquin Valley.  In addition to our twice-yearly online journal open to anyone from anywhere, we publish an ongoing series of “Locally Sourced” literature centered on writing that captures life as it exists in our neck of the woods: Visalia to Frazier Park, McKittrick to Mojave.

Tips From the Editor

We’re looking for poetry and flash fiction or nonfiction (under 1,000 words) that use voice, image, and form to leave us saying in our best Keanu Reeves voices “Whoa.”
