Open Road Review publishes short fiction (including translations), creative nonfiction, poetry, interviews, and artwork at the present time. The journal was founded in 2011 and the first issue was published on May 1 2012. Genre fiction with a literary slant is preferred. No horror, science fiction, or stories for children. Creative nonfiction should be more than a dot on the map or an incident. Poetry that’s fresh. Reading is on a rolling basis. Alongside established writers, it’s our endeavor to publish new ones.
